Parize Michaud has studied and practiced Taiji for a decade. Branching out from her earlier studies in other martial arts, she participated in numerous classes, workshops and seminars led by Sam Masish, Nick Gracinin, master Duan Zhiliang and Dr. Ja Dunbar. This path eventually led her to discovering Qigong.
Parize trained in Qigong Therapy with Lisa O'Shea at the Qigon Institute of Rochester and is now a certified Qigong Therapist. She teaches at Daemen College, the University at Buffalo and various Holistic Centers in the Western New York area. With a degree in Biology and training in Kinesiology, she has a particular interest in the multiple forms of movement and their effects on our well-being.
