Dance Studies
Her dance studies have included Modern (Graham-Based) and African (Dunham-Based), with the Gemini Dance Company under the direction of Steve Porter. As a member of Gemini, Cathy traveled to Europe for several summers as part of an international folk festival.

Her area of special study are dances of the Middle East and North Africa. Cathy has traveled throughout Egypt, Morocco, Turkey, and Greece, exploring dance and culture. Her studies frequently take her to New York City to study with various masters, including Yousary Sharif, Velerie Camille, Ned Williams, Jajouka, Elena Lentini, and various Brazilian instuctors.

Meditation
In addition to dance Cathy continues to study a variety of meditation and yoga forms which are a natural blend for teaching, choreographing, and performing dance. Cathy's studies in Kundalini Yoga, Tai Chi, Chi Kung, and Sufism are foundations in her facilitation of the utilization of breathwork, awareness, and potential for participants in her classes.

Performances
Cathy has performed at a variety of local and international venues. Her performance experiences are vast and she has loved each and every one of them from local night clubs and private parties, to local concert stages such as the Allendale, New Pheonix, Flickinger, Rockwell Hall, Pfiefer Theatre, Asbury Hall, Hallwalls, Alleyway, Ujima, the Jacob Javitts Convention Center in NYC and all the black box theaters in between.

Cathy continues to choreograph for Folkloric Productions Dance Co., Inc. , and has directed numerous theatrical dance concerts.

Creative Studies
Cathy will complete a MS in Creative Studies from the State University College at Buffalo in 2011. Her work in Creative Studies is a natural progression towards the development of layering and identifying further personal development workshops utilizing movement and meditation to access the creative process.
