Prayer or Meditation - How to Pray and What's the Difference

Learn the difference between Prayer and Meditation. Learn about an ancient method of prayer that was lost for over 1700 years until the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Nag Hamadi Library. Learn how to pray in a manner that is not supplicatory or ritualistic but is based in feeling and uses no words (as words are but symbols of symbols).


We will learn about this method and then employ it in silence. This method of prayer has been scientifically proven effective as we change that which is outside of us by becoming the cause of that which we are attempting to effect. This is done by employing the methods learned by becoming that which we are feeling.

This class is on Wednesday evening, March 10 at 7:30 pm. $10

 

Kundalini Yoga

On Saturday, March 20 at 10:45 am - 12:15 pm with Paul Knight. $15 per class. Register now. This is different than the other yoga classes you have taken.

 

Yoga Voice Workshop and Kirtan with Lea Longo

Intro to Yoga Course

Begins again on a Saturday in April. 4 weeks for $48. Class is taught by Tim Shelgren and Michael Sutton.

This is a four week course teaching you the basics of yoga via movement (postures or poses), breath, stillness, relaxation, meditation and philosophy
